Question 1

What's the Founder Rate and how do I qualify?

Accepted Answer

The Founder Rate is exclusive pricing for new Alberta business owners who receive our direct mail letter. It locks in your first-year pricing at a significant discount. Standard pricing is available on request for businesses that don't qualify.

Question 2

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?

Accepted Answer

Monthly plans are cancel anytime — no minimum commitment. 3-month and annual plans are prepaid and non-refundable. We recommend the annual plan for the best value and because results compound over time, but we never force a commitment.

Question 3

Do I own my website?

Accepted Answer

Yes, always. Your website, domain, and all content belong to you. If you ever leave MyBBFF, you walk away with everything. No hostage-taking.

Question 4

How long does it take to go live?

Accepted Answer

Most clients are fully live — website, Google profile, automations — within 10 business days of completing their onboarding questionnaire.

Question 5

What's included in Google Business Profile management?

Accepted Answer

Monthly GBP posts, photo updates, Q&A management, citation management across 98%+ of directories, monthly heatmap ranking report, and full GBP optimization on signup — a $300+ value included free.

Question 6

Does the virtual phone number really cost nothing extra?

Accepted Answer

The number, forwarding setup, and missed-call text-back automation are fully included in your retainer — no separate monthly fee from us. You're only billed for actual usage: calls and texts, billed in USD by the carrier regardless of your retainer's billing currency, at a fraction of a cent per text and a couple cents per minute of forwarded calls. There's a small one-time setup cost when your number is registered, covered in your onboarding — nothing recurring beyond your actual usage. Most clients with typical call/text volume see minimal extra cost; heavier volume costs more, but you're never paying for anything beyond what you use.

Question 7

How much does a website retainer cost for a new Alberta business?

Accepted Answer

MyBBFF retainers start at $247/month for the Founder Rate (Legitimacy Launch plan) which includes a professional website, Google Business Profile management, automated lead follow-up, missed call text-back, and a virtual business phone number. No upfront website cost.

Question 8

What if I want to upgrade my plan later?

Accepted Answer

Easy — just let us know. We prorate the difference and upgrade your automations and deliverables in the same billing cycle. Most clients start on Starter and upgrade to Growth within 3-6 months once they see results.
