Hi, I'm Rachel.
I moved to Calgary from Seoul as a teen — alone, no connections, no safety net. I spent years as an executive assistant to successful Calgary business owners — watching how they made decisions, built systems, and grew. I know what it feels like to start from scratch in a city where nobody knows your name.
I founded MyBBFF because I kept watching great Alberta service businesses lose clients to competitors with better websites — not better service. A plumber with a broken website loses the job to the one with a clean site and 40 Google reviews. That's fixable. That's what we do.

Our Journey So Far
2016-2017
Rachel started freelancing while working full-time at a government office in Vancouver, BC. Her services were website edits, content creation, copywriting, VoiceOver, translation, and various custom marketing/admin projects. She served UBC, Bob's Repair, UKare, Tennis Foundation and more.
2017-2018
Rachel left Canada and ran her freelance business while travelling in SE Asia. During this time, she branded her business as Kind Success and focused on marketing projects. Kind Success served small to large companies around the world such as Bayer, The Economist, Marketing4Restaurants, HotelsPro, HMHShip, Aureas Media, and more.
2018-2020
Rachel returned to Canada and Kind Success continued providing marketing services. Kind Success served Aucerna and InOrbis in Calgary, GrandCru Imports in Vancouver, 2 Tigers Publishing and Moving Mountain in the USA, and e-commerce brands around the world.
2020-2022
Kind Success lost all retainer contracts in the heat of COVID and Rachel pivoted her way through. She founded a lash brand and a coaching business, just to return to her true passion and strength: websites.
2022-Now
Rachel rebranded as MyBBFF and narrowed the focus entirely to newly incorporated Alberta service businesses. The Legitimacy Stack — website, GBP management, and business automation on one monthly retainer — became the core offer. MyBBFF now serves trades, coaches, cleaners, and consultants across Calgary and Alberta.
